SHAY DESIGNS HAIR - BORN TO DYE SALON POLICIES

We have put some policies in place to best protect our clients and myself. We ask that all clients become acquainted with the policies below before coming in for an appointment.

CREDIT CARD REQUIRED:

A credit card is required upon scheduling an appointment in order to secure the appointment. For some appointments, a deposit is required. 

CANCELLATION:

I ask that you respect my time as I strive to respect your time. Please give 48 hours notice to cancel or reschedule/make changes to any appointments. In the case that 48 hours notice is not given for a cancellation, your credit card will be charged 50% of the service that was scheduled. Day of cancellations/ NO CALL, NO SHOW will be charged 100% of the service that was scheduled. 

TARDINESS POLICY:

Please show up 5 minutes early to your appointment. We understand that sometimes being late is unavoidable. However, depending on circumstances, we may be forced to shorten or reschedule your service. If you’re more than 15 minutes late for your appointment, I may not be able to provide the full service needed and you will have to pay 30% of a cancellation fee. 

NO CHILDREN:

For the safety of your children and the size of my space, the services being done I cannot allow children to join your appointment. 

NO REFUNDS:

We do not offer refunds of any kind.

SERVICE REDO:

If you are dissatisfied with a service you received, we are happy to provide you with the opportunity to return to the salon for a redo. The redo must be scheduled within 7 days of the original service date.

Miscellaneous: 

If you come in for your appointment and choose to have a different service than originally booked and it’s a longer appointment, I will have to charge you an hourly rate as a color correction. If there is not enough time we will have to cancel, charge a 20% cancellation fee for your original service and take a deposit that will go towards your future appointment.
