My Name is Shana as everyone calls me Shay, I currently live in Old Bridge, NJ. Not too far from New York where I learned all the hair tips and tricks. I am a fur mom to two amazing cats and love rescuing outdoor cats. In my spare time & I love to garden and spend time on our back patio with one of our outdoor cats.

I have been an independent hairstylist/ designer for over 15 years. I am the owner of Born to Dye Salon in Hazlet, NJ. Born to Dye is an intimate salon that is by appointment only. I get to meet lovely people create clients hair dreams, either with a hair extension method, as well as giving them hair color dreams. I love to keep up with the latest extension methods, color & style trends.

I love sharing how to keep your hair healthy, curating a at home care routine. Aside from hair coloring, amazing haircuts & styling. I am certified with multiple extension brands & methods: Tape-in, beaded row, hand-tied & keratin bonding. Specialize in thinning, high risk hair situations & Trichotillomania. I constantly love keeping up my education and learning new ways to make my clients feel their best!
